Education gives direction of this wonderful creation transferring childhood to be distinguished personalities and lead the country to the path of progress.

Education does not mean providing answers to questions but it means equipping pupil with means to find the answers for himself and within himself. Education empowers students to discover themselves-who they are as people. Within each student is a doctor, an engineer, a teacher , a social activist a sports person------- The teachers support them in channelizing resources vis- a vis their dreams thus, sustainably generating civilized and productive human capital for serving our motherland in line with the DAV philosophy of education.

DAVMTPS caters to the needs of the ward of DVC employees and to the children of the near by villages .We are proud to be imparting education in this remote area in the district of Bankura where we also have first generation learners coming to the school.

We emphasize on providing a congenial environment to promote scholastic as well as co-scholastic activities giving wings to the cocooned talents and maintain a harmony between the occidental and oriental values.

Over the years the school has strived to come up to the expectations of the society with its experienced ,dedicated and committed staff with the only intention to lay a strong foundation and raise the standard in all spheres and walk shoulder to shoulder with the emerging global competition.

DAVMTPS is aided by the DVC Project supported under the Chairmanship of the Project Head,MTPS and has the constant Co-operation of the DVC representatives, the parents and the LMC.
